Stopped by this pub on a Friday night and it was packed—definitely a busy spot! Even with the rush, the service was really prompt and friendly, which was great. The food was good, exactly what you want from proper pub grub. The only thing is, because it's so popular and busy, it gets really noisy in there. Don't plan on having any serious conversations! If I could give 6 stars I would. Really amazing service from the team at the Royal Pug today, they seemed to have all kinds of problems with the reservation system, card machines, wifi, but the staff were clearly working 110% to get everything sorted as effectively as possible.
