About The Pubs
Our Grumble of pubs has grown!
What started as a great local has turned into a full handful of them!
The Fat Pug opened in 2012, serving the residents around the Rugby Road and Guys Cliffe Road intersection. The plan was to establish it as a modern, but proper pub.
Ok, more importantly, we also wanted somewhere our pug – Henrietta – could make some friends, and be an open door for dog owners to stay warm in the winter.
What the heck is a Grumble?
Now, we’ve opened – we can’t believe we’re saying this – the FIFTH pub in our little Grumble of Pug pubs. A Grumble is a term coined just for Pugs – a little group of them. Just like us!
Though the real ones give out a little grumble when they are happy – hence the name.
If you’re in or visiting Leamington Spa, Warwick, and the surrounding Warwickshire area we hope you’ll pop in and find a different Pug with the same warm welcome.
